The BFI London Film Festival is in full swing! While we count down the days to the European Premiere of our feature doc The Man from Mo'Wax (screening Friday 14th of October in Leicester Square) we've been kept busy with a whole host of brilliant events.
To kick things we off we were invited to the festival's Opening Night Gala and European Premiere of A United Kingdom, the evening consisted of a red carpet, a great British film and an excellent party. With our friend and fellow The Man from Mo'Wax producer Brian A. Hoffman arriving in town from LA that morning for the festival. The Gala was just the beginning of an exciting 12 days.
On Friday we headed to the BFI Lottery Filmmakers reception for a wonderful afternoon celebrating all the filmmakers and films at this year's London Film Festival that have been supported by the BFI and the National Lottery. Hosted by Ben Roberts director of the BFI Film Fund and Clare Stewart, BFI London Film Festival director, this event was especially important to us as The Man from Mo'Wax was awarded BFI completion funding earlier this year.
With the second week of the festival already upon us we're looking forward to some more wonderful events. And if Monday's intimate Filmmakers dinner hosted by BFI Head Programmer Stuart Brown at the BFI Stephen Street's Stephen Street Bar & Kitchen is anything to go by we're sure we won't be disappointed!
Tickets to The Man from Mo'Wax European Premiere and second BFI LFF screening have nearly sold out! Make sure to purchase them from the BFI website so you don't miss out!
