The Man from Mo'Wax continues to add to its worldwide festival screenings with the latest installment at the European Film Festival Palic. The filmmakers and James Lavelle were invited by Illaja Tatic, the festival’s Executive Producer, to be part of an out of competition, special screening of the film and a live DJ set by James at the Summer3p Music Festival which would then unite the two long standing events.
The film screened to a near full-house cinema at 9pm on Thursday 25th July 2019 and the following night James Lavelle headlined and played his set in the early hours to a crowd of over 1000 people.
The following day after the screening a press conference was held with the Serbian Media.
The jury was lead by British actor Tom Burke and following on from its Cannes film festival success the Golden Tower prize for best film was Les Miserables directed by Ladj Ly.
