Our fantasy epic short Hawk, directed by M J McMahon, was quite the feat to complete, but an invaluable experience that resulted in a short film we're really proud of! Shot in the stunning Welsh region of Snowdonia, Hawk, steeped in Welsh mythology, tells the story of Rowan who discovers a shadowy world beneath his own where the divide between man and beast blurs and the fairy tales of his childhood spring to life.
While making the film we kept a production diary chronicling our journey, starting from the beginning of the shoot, travelling up to North Wales from London, to the film's World Premiere at BAFTA. In between the diaries show behind the scenes of the shoot, recording with the Serendipity choir and in Bratislava with the symphony orchestra for motion picture score, the designing of the film's poster and the post production process. You can check out all 40 (!) of these diaries on the official Hawk website by following this link: Hawk Production Diaries.
