After a great deal of anticipation our debut short film Hawk screened to the public as part of the Llangollen Fringe Festival in Valle Crucis Abbey, North Wales, which coincidentally is near Dinas Bran where we shot part of the film. We are honoured that Hawk is the first film to screen in the Abbey and will become part of such a reputable history. The 800 year old Abbey was left in ruins when it was destroyed during the dissolution of the monasteries in 1537, fortunately part of the original structure still remains which made a very interesting venue for our screening.
By 8.30pm dusk had settled and Hawk took flight. We were thrilled with the turn out with so many people showing up to support Director M J McMahon who grew up nearby. All in all the screening was a great success, thank you to everyone who turned up!
