The Man from Mo'Wax screened in Moscow as part of the Selector Pro! We headed over to Russia for the brilliant multi-format festival hosted by the British Council in collaboration with the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design, that creates a platform for sharing experiences and discussion on the music industry through workshops, talks and other events.
A single film is selected to screen each year as part of the two-day music forum and we couldn't be more thrilled that this year we were invited to take part. The Man from Mo'Wax screened on opening night, before which director Matthew Jones joined Beat Film co-founder Kirill Sorokin and Russian journalist and music critic Artemy Troitsky for a panel discussion on 'How to Speak About Music' to the 500 strong audience. Later in the weekend producer M J McMahon gave a presentation on working with the music industry and making a music documentary.
