After a whirlwind 12 days the 60th BFI London Film Festival has come to an end! The final week of the festival certainly lived up to the first, with a brilliant selection of events for filmmakers and a whole host of films to watch. Wednesday evening's New Talent party hosted by the BFI NET.WORK at the BFI Southbank was a night to celebrate filmmakers whose first feature or short films were included in the festival program. Thursday night was all about documentaries with the Grierson Awards Documentary Reception, a great night of networking with other filmmakers whose docs were selected this year.
Friday was the night we had been waiting for, the European Premiere of our feature length doc The Man from Mo'Wax. The film screened to an audience of 400 (including the film's star James Lavelle as well as other contributors Paul Bradshaw and Jane Beese, Head of Music at the Roundhouse) at Leicester Square's VUE cinema after being introduced by producers M J McMahon, Brian A. Hoffman and director Matthew Jones. The screening was followed by a Q&A hosted by the BFI London Film Festival Head Programmer Stuart Brown with Matthew and the film's creative editor Alec Rossiter. The Man from Mo'Wax received an overwhelmingly positive response and we couldn't have been more thrilled to share the project with a UK audience in the city that has so much importance to the film.

On Saturday The Man from Mo'Wax had it's second screening this time at Picturehouse Central. We were especially pleased to have the Mo'Wax/UNKLE fan base out in full force for this screening, and for a full debrief on the making of the film at the bar afterwards! And as if all that wasn't enough we topped off the last weekend of the festival with a barrage of bullets attending the European Premiere of Ben Wheatley's Free Fire!
