Having worked with Simon Bird on his short film ‘Ernestine & Kit’ we were honoured to be asked to create the opening title sequence and chapter headings for Simon’s debut feature film, ‘Days of The Bagnold Summer’.

As you’ll see from our blog, the majority of the film was also edited at Capture and this meant we were able to discuss ideas with Simon and see an early cut of the film to get the ideas rolling.

The film has beautifully expressive framing throughout and so the graphics were designed to really work with each shot and add a final touch to the bold aesthetic that Simon and his team had already created.
