Eight year old Sam is desperate for an Allotment. When he meets Norman, a curmudgeonly old man with a neglected allotment and a death wish, Sam thinks he has the solution to both of their problems.

Since its release, the film has been nominated for awards at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival and the Foyle Film Festival, won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Short at the Austin Film Festival as well as Best of Festival and Best Comedy at the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival.  Killing Thyme has also been Officially Selected for Short Sighted Cinema's Shortest Nights and the This is England Short Festival.
