Capture were commissioned by London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and Picturehouse Cinemas to produce a 60” Theatrical trailer for 4 new films specially co-commissioned by London 2012 Festival, Film 4 and BBC Films.

Our Brief: To create a bespoke trailer marrying the essence of the London 2012 Festival brand identity alongside the eclectic and diverse selection of films.

Taking inspiration directly from the iconic 2012 logo, Capture crafted a bespoke split screen effect incorporating original music by composer Stuart Hancock, alongside HD footage of all 4 films, all delivered to theatrical cinema picture standards and then distributed to cinemas nationwide via DCP (Digital Cinema Print)

The showcase is a compilation of four films co-commissioned as part of the London 2012 Festival.

Some of best British Directors in the business were brought together for a unique cultural cinematic event: Mike Leigh’s “A Running Jump”, Lynne Ramsey’s “Swimmer”, Asif Kapadia’s “The Odyseey”, and Max & Dania’s “What If”.

The Trailer / Commercial was distributed to over 70 Cinemas Nationwide in the UK including Odeon, Cineworld, and Picturehouse cinemas.
